Swiss State Bank Rolls Out ETH Staking
PostFinance, a bank owned by the Swiss government, is now allowing its 2.7 million customers to invest in Ether for a minimum of twelve weeks, as reported by Bloomberg.
This type of investment, known as staking, involves holding onto Ether for a certain amount of time and receiving rewards for doing so.
Other traditional banks, such as Anchorage Digital, have also started offering crypto services. Usually, 32 Ether is required to stake, but PostFinance is allowing customers to stake with just 0.1 Ether.
This service is fully integrated into PostFinance’s existing services and is based on directly staking on the Ethereum blockchain.
