Online Casino MetaWin Loses $4M in Hacker Attack

MetaWin, an online casino platform, was the victim of an exploit on November 3rd that resulted in the loss of approximately $4 million.

Despite this attack, the platform’s CEO, Skel, stated that the funds have since been replenished. The hacker was able to access MetaWin’s hot wallets through the platform’s frictionless withdrawal system, leading to a suspension of all withdrawals.

However, the CEO reassured that 95% of the customers have been able to resume their withdrawals at the time of writing.

Investigator ZackXBT also disclosed that the hacker transferred the stolen funds to Kucoin and a HitBTC nested service.

He also discovered over 115 addresses connected to the individual responsible for the attack.
