Bitstamp to Make Bitcoin More Accessible in Europe

Crypto exchange Bitstamp has partnered with fintech platform Stripe to make Bitcoin and other digital currencies more accessible in Europe.

Through this collaboration, announced on August 7, consumers in the European Union will be able to purchase crypto through Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto on-ramp.

This allows for a smoother checkout experience and faster settlement of transactions.

Stripe’s on-ramp, launched in May 2023, aims to address the challenge of individuals not having crypto in their wallets by allowing them to buy and exchange it in real-time.

Their solution includes an embeddable widget for websites and apps, as well as a Stripe-hosted option for companies to direct their customers to.
