Hut 8 Hires a New CFO

Hut 8, an energy infrastructure company and miner of Bitcoin, revealed on Tuesday its upcoming addition of a new chief financial officer later this month.

Sean Glennan will assume the position of CFO for Hut 8 starting August 21. The current CFO, Shenif Visram, will be stepping down from his role due to personal reasons but will remain with the company until Glennan takes over to ensure a smooth transition.

“We are delighted to have Sean join our team as we continue to execute our power-first strategy,” said Hut 8 CEO Asher Genoot.

“With his extensive expertise in strategic planning, finance, and capital markets, along with his strong connections in the industry, he will be a valuable asset in shaping and achieving our future plans.”
