Kraken Custody Expands to UK and Australia

Kraken Institutional has now expanded its custody service to clients in the UK and Australia, both new and existing ones. This follows the successful launch of Kraken Custody in the US earlier this year.

The service is designed specifically for institutions, providing a secure and streamlined way to store, manage, and transfer funds using a single interface that is integrated with Kraken’s other products.

According to a spokesperson for Kraken, there is a growing demand for reliable custody solutions in the cryptocurrency space, which drove the company to launch this service.

Kraken’s institutional services were first launched in February after popular investment firms like BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and Grayscale Investments chose Coinbase as their custodian for a bitcoin exchange-traded fund.
