Crypto Funds See Influx Since Beginning of the Year
Data provided by CoinShares analysts shows that from March 30 to April 5, there was a total inflow of $646 million into cryptocurrency investment products, with a record total of $13.8 billion invested since the beginning of the year.
Of this amount, $663 million was invested in Bitcoin-related instruments, a decrease from the previous week’s $865 million.
However, there were withdrawals of funds from structures that allow opening shorts on Bitcoin for the third week in a row, with $9.5 million withdrawn compared to $2 million the week before.
Ethereum funds also experienced a continued outflow of $22.5 million, in contrast to more positive inflows of $4.4 million, $4 million, and $1.4 million into Litecoin, Solana, and Filecoin, respectively.
