Changpeng Zhao: DeFi Will Outperform CeFi in Next Bull Market

Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of crypto exchange platform Binance, made a proclamation during an AMA session at X; he believes the DeFi sector has the capacity to exceed Centralized Finance (CeFi) during the next cryptocurrency surge.

As reported by Cointelegraph, Zhao stated:

“DeFi is the future, its volume is about 5-10% of CeFi, which is not insignificant. The next bull run could make DeFi much bigger than CeFi.”

He has further added that the more decentralized the cryptocurrency market gets, the better. His sentiments were echoed by the ruling of the court, which threw out a class action suit against the Uniswap decentralized exchange for supposed unregistered securities.
