The SEC to Allow ETFs on Ethereum Futures in October
In the Fall of 2021, Proshares and VanEck became the first to launch crypto funds ETFs focused on bitcoin futures for the American market.
Numerous companies had filed applications for the release of such tools.
According to Bloomberg, if the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approves at least one of the applications submitted – then a crypto fund ETF for Ethereum futures may enter the US market as soon as October 12.
Ethereum (ETH) is trading at just under $1,700, having temporarily reached above the $1,700 mark as of the end of last week.
However, BTC and ETH have since dipped in price over the weekend.
