DEX Uniswap Says It Does Not Collect or Store Users’ Personal Information
Non-custodial exchange Uniswap has recently updated its privacy policy and has outlined the rules for protecting user data.
According to the team:
“First of all, we do not collect or store personal information such as first name, last name, postal address, date of birth, email or IP address.”
However, the exchange uses certain network data and information associated with customers’ crypto wallets to “make informed decisions and improve services.”
The developers of the project have specified this applies to mobile device identifiers, cookies, local storage information, OS data, software languages and browser version. The information helps, for example, to understand user preferences and improve interaction.
