Peter Brandt Criticizes BTC

Tech analyst and head of Factor LLC Peter Brandt has said BTC bought in 2021 has become unprofitable today. He has also ridiculed Bitcoin supporters for using “laser eyes” on Twitter profile pictures. According to him:

“How many people who ‘grew’ laser eyes in 2021 would believe that every Bitcoin purchase for the entire year by now would be a bad deal?”

He has also added he did not expect the price of Bitcoin to fall below $20,000 by October 2022.

In response, the former head of MicroStrategy and BTC maximalist Michael Saylor has written that “laser eyes” means long-term commitment to BTC based on its “ethical, technical and economic superiority compared to alternative assets.”
