Russia Will Remove Restrictions on Crypto International Payments

The Ministry of Finance of Russia wants to allow international payments in cryptocurrencies for any industry without restrictions.

According to him, the previous payment schemes, including the SWIFT financial messaging system, are very outdated. In this regard, Russia needs to create its own infrastructure for the cryptocurrency market. This would protect the interests of citizens and control the legal use of digital assets.

He has added:

“Payment with cryptocurrencies is now taking place outside the legal field. These are small deals. We are going to allow international payments in cryptocurrencies for any industries without restrictions.”
