Crypto Custodian Fireblocks Becomes a Strategic Partner of the SIX Group

The SIX Digital Exchange (SDX) platform has recently announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with crypto custodian Fireblocks.

The collaboration initially aims to provide an “institutional solution for storing digital assets” in a distributed economy.

As part of the partnership, SDX Web3 Services, which is a a specialized division of the platform, will integrate custodial technologies from Fireblocks based on multilateral computing (MPC) into its system.

The offer is intended for European institutional clients such as banks, corporations and other financial institutions. The launch is scheduled for the second half of 2022.

SDX belongs to the operator of the Swiss stock exchange SWX (SIX Swiss Exchange).
