Binance Invests in GameFi Platform Crypto Gaming United

Crypto exchange Binance has just announced it has made an investment in the GameFi platform Crypto Gaming United (CGU) as part of a $1 billion fund to develop the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem.

According to the platform, the primary focus of the CGU fund is to build a global community of gamers focused on online video games using NFTs.

Alex Odagiu, investment manager of the BSC fund, said:

“The metaverse opens up many opportunities both in the DeFi space and beyond. For us, this means investing in the economic potential of virtual worlds, allowing members of the gaming community to play their favorite games and earn money.”

CGU plans to provide economic activity in the metaverse to 1,000,000 people by 2024.

According to the press release, the BSC development fund has already supported more than 300 blockchain projects.
