OKCoin Receives Regulators Approval in Malta and The Netherlands
Cryptocurrency exchange OKCoin has just received the regulatory approval in Malta as well as new licenses in the Netherlands and Puerto Rico, according to the tweet posted by the company.
After receiving the green light from from Malta’s Financial Services Authority (FSA), the trading platform will become the only crypto trading platform based in the US to be granted a Class 4 license allowing the platform to offer crypto trading services to customers.
Regarding the Netherlands, the registration of the exchange with the central bank of the country will enable the company to expand partnerships with financial institutions and integrate payment systems across Europe.
As far as Puerto Rico is concerned, the country’s regulator has granted the exchange a license to offer money transfer services.
All the above shows the exchange is expanding its services in multiple jurisdictions as well as the services it offers.
