John McAfee is Found Dead in Prison

Antivirus software developer and cryptocurrency enthusiast John McAfee has reportedly been found dead in prison after reportedly committing suicide, Spanish newspaper El País has reported.

McAfee’s extradition to the US had been approved by the Spanish Courts. As a result, John would be extradited to the United States to face tax evasion charges.

Notably, he has been found dead in his cell at Brians 2 Penitentiary Center in Barcelona. The staff of the prison tried to revive him with not luck.

While the cause of the death has not been officially confirmed, it seems that McAfee, who was 75 years old, has committed suicide.

We should remember he was arrested in October last year in Spain following a US order after the US authorities accused him of evading taxes. According to them, McAfee made a lot of money promoting cryptocurrency projects and did not declare these income.

The crypto enthusiast said the charges were politically motivated and claimed he was not guilty.
