Mt. Gox Transfers $1B in Bitcoins

On-chain data from Arkham Intelligence revealed that the bankrupt crypto exchange Mt. Gox transferred 11,501.4 Bitcoin (about $1 billion) on March 25.

The analytics firm noted that the exchange sent 893 BTC to its cold wallet (1Jbez) and 10,608 BTC to another wallet (1DcoA).

Earlier, Mt. Gox moved a total of 12,000 BTC, worth over $1 billion, on March 6 and another 11,833 Bitcoin on March 11.

Arkham Intelligence data indicates that the exchange still holds around 35,000 BTC, valued at $3.1 billion, across its controlled wallets.

This latest move marks Mt. Gox’s third significant transaction in under a month. Arkham Intelligence alerted the community, highlighting that 893 BTC, valued at approximately $78 million, was sent to the cold wallet, while another 10,608 BTC, worth around $929 million, was transferred to the change wallet.
