Coinbase Report Unveils 83% of Institutions Will Expand Crypto Allocations

According to a report by Coinbase and EY-Parthenon, over 80% of institutional investors surveyed plan to increase their crypto allocations by 2025. Interest in altcoins like Solana and XRP is rising, alongside the adoption of stablecoins and DeFi.

Meanwhile, Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet has continued its aggressive BTC acquisition, purchasing an additional 150 BTC on March 18. Strategy also announced a new stock offering to fund further BTC purchases, although its recent acquisitions have slowed.

Institutional interest in cryptocurrency is growing, with 83% planning to boost their crypto allocations by 2025.
