Franklin Templeton Launches a New Crypto Product

Franklin Templeton has introduced its newest crypto exchange-traded product, the Franklin Crypto Index ETF.

This launch marks the firm’s third significant venture into crypto ETFs, following the earlier releases of the Franklin Bitcoin ETF and Franklin Ethereum ETF, which were approved in January and June, respectively.

The announcement for the Franklin Crypto Index ETF came on February 20.

Approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission in August 2024, the fund will be listed under the ticker EZPZ.

This new exchange-traded product aims to provide exposure to the price movements of Bitcoin and Ethereum, reflecting the market capitalizations of BTC and ETH, the two largest digital assets.
