According to a February 18 report by Bloomberg, Robinhood intends to introduce cryptocurrency trading products in Singapore through its subsidiary, Bitstamp.

While the online brokerage has not yet established an official launch date, it plans to begin offering services by the end of 2025.

The information was derived from an interview with Johann Kerbrat, Vice President and General Manager of Robinhood Crypto. “One of the appealing aspects of Bitstamp was its licenses with Singapore, in addition to its institutional business,” Kerbrat told Bloomberg.

In June, Robinhood reached an agreement to acquire the Bitstamp crypto exchange in a $200 million deal, aiming to enhance its services for institutional crypto investors in the US and internationally.
