Franklin Templeton Makes its Tokenized Money Fund Available on Solana

Franklin Templeton yesterday announced that its tokenized money fund, the “Franklin OnChain US Government Money Fund” (FOBXX), has been launched on Solana, bringing its availability to eight different blockchains.

According to Franklin Templeton’s website, FOBXX invests 99.5% of its assets in US government securities, cash, and repurchase agreements fully backed by US government securities or cash, offering an annual percentage yield (APY) of 4.55%.

As of February 11, FOBXX had a market cap of nearly $594 million, ranking it as the third-largest money fund with tokenized shares. The fund has 544 holders, reflecting a 2.5% increase over the past 30 days.
