Trump Appoints ex-PayPal COO as Crypto Czar

David Sacks, a former Chief Operating Officer of PayPal, has been chosen as the United States’ first artificial intelligence and crypto czar, a new position established by President-elect Donald Trump.

According to Trump’s announcement on his Truth Social account, “David O. Sacks will serve as the White House A.I. & Crypto Czar.” In this role, Sacks will develop a legal framework to provide clarity and support for the cryptocurrency industry in the US.

Trump believes that Sacks will be an important figure in shaping policy for Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrency, two crucial areas for American competitiveness in the future. Sacks’ focus will be on helping America become a global leader in both fields.

Additionally, the President-elect states that Sacks will be in charge of protecting free speech online and preventing bias and censorship from big tech companies.

According to Trump, Sacks will also be responsible for developing a legal framework to support the growth of the cryptocurrency industry in the US.
