Gemini Expands to France
Gemini has now officially launched in France as part of its plan to expand its presence in Europe. French users can now create a Gemini account and use the platform’s web or mobile app to deposit, trade, and store more than 70 digital assets, according to a press release.
The exchange also offers multiple funding options for French users, including local payment rails such as EUR and GBP, through debit cards, bank transfers, and Apple Pay. Furthermore, advanced traders can take advantage of ActiveTrader, which offers over 80 trading pairs.
Institutional clients in France can also benefit from Gemini’s OTC desk and eOTC trading system, which allow for large trades to be executed with high liquidity and competitive pricing. Gemini’s decision to enter the French market comes after the company registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) in the country in early 2021.
According to the announcement, this move is part of the company’s growth strategy and shows a strong belief in the potential of the French market, which has emerged as a prominent hub for the crypto industry.
With its expansion into France, Gemini is poised to offer its services to a wider audience and solidify its position as one of the leading crypto exchanges in the world.
