Crypto.com Launches Equities Trading in Australia

Crypto.com has expanded its offerings in Australia by acquiring Fintek Securities, a licensed brokerage firm.

This acquisition allows Crypto.com to offer traditional financial products alongside its existing crypto services to Australian users.

Fintek Securities is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and holds an Australian Financial Services Licence.

This acquisition empowers Crypto.com to offer a wider range of financial products beyond crypto, including equities trading on Australian and international stock exchanges (like ASX, NYSE, and Nasdaq), deposit products, derivatives, foreign exchange, and managed investment schemes.

Vakul Talwar, Crypto.com’s Australian general manager, described the acquisition as a “huge step” for the company, allowing them to cater to a broader range of financial needs for users in Australia.
