Following the US presidential election won by Republican Donald Trump, Bitcoin ETFs listed in the US yesterday saw a historic $1.38 billion in net inflows.

Out of all the ETFs, BlackRock’s IBIT received the most, with over $1.1 billion in net inflows, its highest amount since launching in January.

This also brought the total net inflows for all ETFs to over $25 billion for the first time, with none of the twelve ETFs experiencing any net outflows.

Following Trump’s win, renewed optimism in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space led to $78 million in net inflows for Ether ETFs.

On Thursday, the price of ETH increased by more than 10%, as investors had high expectations for pro-crypto policies and deregulation under a Trump administration.

As of Friday morning in Asia, BTC is trading above $76,000, marking a 10% increase over the past week.
