Coinbase Teams Up with Visa to Allow Crypto Deposits, Withdrawals and Purchases

Visa has announced a partnership with crypto exchange Coinbase that will allow users with eligible debit cards to instantly deposit and withdraw funds from their accounts.

According to Visa’s statement on Oct. 29, the partnership will benefit US and EU customers who will now receive real-time delivery of funds to their accounts when using an eligible Visa debit card.

Additionally, Coinbase customers will be able to use their eligible Visa debit cards to purchase crypto on the platform and immediately transfer their funds to a bank account, depending on the bank and region.

Yanilsa Gonzalez Ore, head of Visa Direct in North America, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will allow Coinbase users with eligible Visa debit cards to take advantage of trading opportunities at any time of day.
