NYDIG: Bitcoin Remains Best Performing Asset This Year
According to the New York Digital Investment Group, Bitcoin continues to be the top-performing asset of the year despite a relatively weak third quarter.
Greg Cipolaro, the research head, states that Bitcoin only gained 2.5% in Q3, but this was due to the high volume of sales.
However, Bitcoin still holds a lead with a 49.2% year-to-date gain.
The market for Bitcoin has been relatively steady in the past six months, despite challenges such as the Mt. Gox and Genesis creditor distributions, which totaled $13.5 billion, and significant BTC sell-offs by the US and German governments.
