Taiwan Regulator Allows Foreign Crypto ETFs

The FSC in Taiwan has recently implemented new regulations governing the participation of professional investors in foreign crypto ETFs and other virtual assets.

The goal of these measures is to increase investment diversification, while also helping securities firms strengthen their re-entrustment operations.

However, due to the high risks involved with crypto ETFs, the FSC has limited their purchase to professional investors.

This includes institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, legal entities, and other knowledgeable individuals with significant assets.

Securities firms must ensure that these investors have the necessary expertise and experience with these types of investments before allowing them to invest in crypto ETFs.
