CleanSpark Purchases 2 Mining Sites in Mississippi
Bitcoin miner CleanSpark has recently acquired two Bitcoin mining sites and accompanying land in Clinton, Mississippi, with a combined purchase price of $5.775 million.
This will provide 16.5 megawatts of power for the company. The site is expected to be fully prepared and operational by December 1, and will use advanced S21 pro miners with a combined hash rate of one exahash per second (EH/s).
With these new acquisitions, CleanSpark’s data center portfolio in Mississippi will reach 60.5 MW.
According to CEO Zach Bradford, this brings the company’s total operational capacity over the last week to 211.5 MW, an increase of almost 38%.
This growth will not only support their goal of achieving 37 EH/s by the end of 2024, but also their target of 50 EH/s in 2025.
