Japanese Company Metaplanet Partners with SBI VC Trade to Offer Custody Services

Metaplanet, a Japanese investment advisor, has announced that they have chosen SBI VC Trade to handle their custody services.

SBI VC Trade, a subsidiary of SBI Holdings, prioritizes tax efficiency and allows for BTC to be used as collateral for financing.

SBI Holdings is a financial services company with assets of around 27.2 trillion yen ($185 billion) under management.

SBI VC Trade is a cryptocurrency exchange that is regulated by the Financial Services Agency in Japan. According to Metaplanet, their decision to partner with SBI VC Trade aligns with their vision of being a modern financial service provider and adds flexibility to their corporate strategy.

They believe that this complements their ongoing efforts in equity and debt financing.
