The cryptocurrency market has seen some notable price movements over the past week, with the two major players Bitcoin and Ethereum experiencing dips in their prices.

As of August 30, Bitcoin was down by 2.41% to $59,576.77 and Ethereum decreased by 5.50% to $2,531.25. These fluctuations have also impacted the overall market cap, which currently stands at $2.08 trillion, down by 0.91%, whereas 24-hour trading volume shrank 17.51% to $67.62 billion.

Bitcoin’s dominance remained at 56.4%, and Ethereum’s share held steady at 14.3%. The broader market was also under pressure, with most altcoins trading in the red.

Other altcoins have moved as follows: BNB -7.53%, Solana -3.79%, XRP -5.91%, Dogecoin -5.93%, TRON +4.41%, and Toncoin -17.02%.
