The world of cryptocurrency has been experiencing some choppy waters over the past day, as price movements for the top cryptocurrencies have been volatile.

The leading digital currency, Bitcoin, has seen a drop of 1.62% to $62,769.18, while its closest rival, Ethereum, has also faced a decline of 2.21% to $2,679.27.

Meanwhile, the overall market cap for all cryptocurrencies has decreased by 1.93% to reach $2.2 trillion. The past 24 hours have seen a significant increase in trading volume, with a whopping 30.14% surge to reach $65.84 billion.

When it comes to market dominance, Bitcoin still holds the top spot with 56.3%, but Ethereum is not far behind with 14.6%.
