The cryptocurrency market experienced a slight downturn in the past 24 hours, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both recording declines.

Bitcoin dipped by 2.84% to $59,254.17, while Ethereum fell by 3.35% to $2,576.74. This overall market weakness pushed the total market capitalization down by 2.22% to $2.1 trillion.

24-hour trading volume also contracted, decreasing by 6.45% to $61.1 billion.

Among the major altcoins, Binance Coin and Solana both saw declines, with BNB falling 2.37% and SOL dropping 3.70%. XRP, Toncoin, and Dogecoin also retreated, with XRP down 2.38%, Toncoin down 2.88%, and Dogecoin down 1.63%.

However, there was a notable outlier: TRON (TRX) surged by 11.90%, bucking the overall market trend.
