Several self-proclaimed Mt. Gox creditors have taken to an insolvency subreddit, alleging that in the past 24 hours, unknown hackers have made multiple unauthorized login attempts on their accounts.

These attempted intrusions have sparked concerns among users, as they suspect the perpetrators may be utilizing brute force techniques. However, some believe that the issue could also be attributed to a glitch in the system.

The use of two-factor authentication by the affected users has likely prevented the hackers from successfully accessing their accounts.

One Redditor, ovkovk, shared that they received 15 notifications for attempted account logins and questioned if Mt. Gox was under attack. This post and numerous comments and additional user posts highlighted similar experiences, leading to speculation that hackers were targeting their accounts.
