Bitwise: Ethereum ETFs Will Soon Be Approved

According to Bitwise’s Katherine Dowling, the launch of eight new spot Ether ETFs is getting closer, but an exact date has yet to be determined.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been reviewing the S-1 amendments for these ETFs, and the fact that fewer issues are being raised suggests that we are nearing the launch date. However, no specific date has been announced yet.

SEC Chair Gary Gensler has mentioned that these ETFs could launch in the summer, but according to Dowling, this definition of “summer” may vary among individuals. Despite the anticipation and patience from issuers, the launch is expected to happen soon.
