According to Yat Siu, the chairman of Hong Kong-based gaming and metaverse company Animoca Brands, the company is considering going public sometime next year.

The company is exploring the possibility of a public listing in either Hong Kong or the Middle East, where cryptocurrency-friendly policies are in place.

This information comes from an article by The Information, who initially reported Animoca’s plans to go public.

Siu stated that the decision to go public is dependent on several factors, but the company feels confident about it and is aiming for the second half of 2025.

Animoca was previously listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, but it was delisted in 2020 due to regulatory scrutiny over its involvement in cryptocurrency-related activities.

At the time, the company stated that it was working on this issue and hoped to complete it soon.
