CoinStats, a popular app for managing cryptocurrency portfolios across multiple chains, has issued a warning to its users who created a wallet through the app.

The platform experienced a security incident and is advising affected users to move their funds. Additionally, a false iOS notification falsely notifying users of a giveaway may have been a result of the same security breach. Some users on Reddit also reported receiving the notification.

The platform confirmed the security incident in a statement on X and advised users to move their funds as soon as possible if they had exported their private key.

They have also temporarily shut down their platform and promised to release further details on the incident in a post-mortem.
