Asset management firm Bitwise has revised its registration statement for the spot Ether exchange-traded fund (ETF), which will potentially include a $100 million investment upon its launch.

According to the filing submitted on June 18 to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Pantera Capital Management has expressed interest in purchasing up to $100 million worth of ETF shares.

However, this interest is not a binding commitment and the potential purchasers may decide to buy more, less, or no shares.

This filing, known as Form S-1, includes details on financials, operations, and risk assessment and must be submitted to the SEC before a security can begin trading.
