Uniswap Introduces Crypto Purchases

Uniswap’s mobile app now offers its users the option to purchase cryptocurrencies through Robinhood Connect, utilizing funds from Robinhood, a debit card, or a bank transfer.

According to the decentralized exchange (DEX) in a statement released on Monday, Robinhood Connect is one of three providers available for crypto purchases on Uniswap, alongside Coinbase Pay and Moonpay.

First-time users on Uniswap’s app who make a purchase of $10 or more in cryptocurrencies through Robinhood Connect will receive $10 worth of USDC in their Robinhood account.

The integration of Robinhood Connect with Uniswap comes shortly after its launch on popular hot wallet application MetaMask.

This move by Robinhood to expand its Connect service for cryptocurrency traders aligns with their increasing presence in the crypto market, as evidenced by the recent listing of four new tokens for users in New York.
