Kraken Introduces a Self-custodial Crypto Wallet

Crypto exchange Kraken has recently launched their own self-custodial mobile wallet known as Kraken Wallet.

The company has also made the app’s code publicly available upon release. According to Kraken’s announcement, the wallet allows users to manage their NFTs, tokens, and DeFi positions on various platforms such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Dogecoin.

It also offers access to popular decentralized applications and provides round-the-clock customer support.

In an effort to prioritize user privacy, Kraken also shared the wallet’s code on the developer platform GitHub, highlighting the importance of third-party reviews for ensuring the wallet’s security.
