Do Kwon Will Be Extradited to South Korea

According to the Vijesti news outlet, Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs (TFL), will be extradited to South Korea per the decision of the High Court of Montenegro.

Vijesti reports that on March 5, the Court of Appeal in Montenegro reversed the initial approval for Kwon’s transfer to American authorities.

Kwon’s lawyers had previously requested for his extradition to both the United States and South Korea on December 19 and February 8, respectively.

The South Korean National Police Agency reached out to Interpol in order to assist with Kwon’s extradition.

The agency emphasized that their request was sent prior to the United States’ request. However, according to Bloomberg, US prosecutors will continue to push for Kwon’s extradition.
