Deutsche Börse Rolls Out a Crypto Platform for Institutional Investors
The Deutsche Börse entered the digital currency market in 2020 and has since been expanding its offerings.
This week, the exchange launched a platform for spot trading of virtual currencies, catering to institutional investors.
The head of the exchange’s digital assets division, Karl Kelzer, stated that there is significant interest from large capital to enter the cryptosphere.
In February, the exchange was granted a license from German regulator BaFin for its subsidiary Crypto Finance (Deutschland) GmbH, allowing it to provide services for trading, settlements, and storage of digital assets in Germany.
Additionally, the trading platform has also received approval from the Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF).
