Users Are Becoming More Interested in Solana Than in Ethereum

In the year 2023, there was a shift in Google search trends as “Solana” surpassed “Ethereum” for the first time, with traders showing increased curiosity about developments in its ecosystem.

Despite Ethereum having a significant lead in search interest throughout the year, the data from Dec. 17 to Dec. 23 showed Solana with a search interest score of 56, surpassing Ethereum’s score of 50.

According to Google Trends, the search term “Solana” is expected to reach a score of 100 in terms of search interest from Dec. 24 to Dec. 30, indicating peak popularity for the term.

The data also revealed that Solana saw higher search interest than Ethereum in countries such as Spain and the Philippines. However, Ethereum still dominated search interest in countries like Indonesia, Taiwan, and Morocco.
