Immutable Rolls Out a Web3 Wallet for Gamers
Immutable, a web3 game studio, has officially launched Passport, a tool that combines the features of a non-custodial crypto wallet, player profile management, and authentication.
With Passport, users now have a convenient and secure way to access multiple games and marketplaces, store their assets and achievements, and manage their personal data.
The Immutable Passport framework is currently integrated into five applications, including Gods Unchained, Blocklete Golf, Bleacher Report, Watch2Earn, TokenTrove, and AtomicHub, with a combined user base of over 500,000 people.
According to Immutable President and Co-Founder Robbie Ferguson, Passport addresses a major barrier to the adoption of Web3 games – the complicated and time-consuming registration process.
The company emphasizes that Passport is non-custodial, as it does not store users’ private keys and does not participate in transaction signing.
Instead, the Passport dashboard provides gamers with the ability to discover new games, store and add funds, link third-party wallets, and manage in-game items, all through a familiar interface.
