Binance Plans to Stop Trading in Pairs with Russian Ruble
Binance will be removing ruble pairs with the biggest cryptocurrencies today.
The pairs that will be delisted include: ADA/RUB, ALGO/RUB, ARB/RUB, ARKM/RUB, ARPA/RUB, BNB/RUB, BUSD/RUB, DOT/RUB, ETH/RUB, LTC/RUB, MATIC/RUB, NEAR/RUB, SOL/RUB, WLD/RUB, and XRP/RUB.
The removal of these spot trading pairs will not impact the availability of the tokens on the exchange.
This decision was made due to Binance’s exit from the Russian Federation and the sale of their local business to CommEX.
Earlier reports revealed that Binance will also be ending their partnership with Advcash, a payment system, possibly due to clients using it to transfer funds from sanctioned banks in Russia.
As a reminder, Binance stopped accepting deposits in Russian rubles as of November 15.
Users can continue to withdraw funds until January 31, 2024, and can transfer their fiat balances to CommEX for free.
