OpenSea, a platform for NFTs, has announced that it has found no evidence of a former employee’s involvement in the 2021 rug pull scheme carried out by AnubisDAO.

According to a report from Cointelegraph, the NFT Ethics account brought up allegations that the ex-manager of OpenSea, Kevin Poulak, was connected to the alias Sisyphus and took part in questionable business deals.

However, OpenSea stated that Poulak had left the company in June 2023 and that they had no knowledge of his involvement in the fraudulent actions.

The NFT Ethics account suggested that funds collected for the ANKH tokens were laundered through the PEPE meme token, but OpenSea maintains that they have no information on Poulak’s involvement in these projects.
