Spanish Law Enforcement Agency Confirms John McAfee Committed Suicide in Prison

A Spanish court has officially attributed suicide as the cause of death for cryptocurrency entrepreneur John McAfee.

The 75-year-old businessman was found dead in his prison cell just hours after Spain approved his extradition to the United States in June 2021.

Despite his death being ruled a suicide, there has been speculation and doubt surrounding the circumstances.

Police initially stated there was no evidence of third-party involvement, but McAfee’s widow, Janice McAfee, has requested an independent autopsy to be conducted on her husband’s remains.

The court’s ruling was not surprising to Janice, as she believes John was ready for the battle ahead.

The death of the entrepreneur continues to be surrounded by various conspiracy theories, many of which were perpetuated by McAfee himself through his social media posts.
