Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin Sells $580K in MakerDAO Tokens
After Rune Christensen proposed launching MakerDAO on the Solana blockchain, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold 500 MKR tokens for 353 ETH (~$579,000 at the moment).
As the project progresses, Christensen stated the next step for the organization is the development of its own blockchain, named NewChain.
A day later, Buterin offered advice in the Discord channel of Reflexer Finance, a competing stablecoin platform, on how to move the project forward if “MakerDAO is torpedoing itself in strange directions.”
Reflexer allows users to create RAI stablecoins using Ethereum as collateral and the coin rate depends on the demand for the asset and the price of ETH.
