Upbit Suspends CRV Deposits and Withdrawals

Upbit has suspended deposits and withdrawals for Curve Finance’s token, CRV, after a reentrancy vulnerability was identified in some of its associated stablecoin pools.

The exchange urged users to exercise caution when it comes to investments related to the token.

Reports indicate that millions of CRV tokens were stolen in the moments before a white hat rescue mission commenced.

The identified Vyper compiler versions – 0.2.15, 0.2.16 and 0.3.0 – are all vulnerable to malfunctioning reentrancy locks and Vyper has urged any project relying on them to contact them immediately.
