On August 1, Trustee Plus, a Ukrainian cryptocurrency neobank, began offering payment cards through Mastercard, which allow users to pay for purchases with digital assets at retailers.

This card is available to people in the European Economic Area and can be used in Google Pay or Apple Pay and is connected to the user’s general cryptocurrency balance.

Every time a transaction takes place, the equivalent in euros is transferred to the seller’s account or is converted into hryvnia if the transaction is made in Ukraine.

To begin using the card, users will need to download the Trustee Plus app and receive verification.

Trustee Plus charges a 0.5% transaction fee for cryptocurrency conversion. 2,191 users have already activated their cards through the Trustee Plus app.

The cost of the card is €10, but those who download the app before August 5 will receive their card for free. Before this, Trustee Plus had announced virtual cryptocurrency cards in March.
