Crypto Custodian Anchorage Will Team Up with EDX Markets
Earlier in October 2022, EDX Markets announced a partnership with Paxos, a cryptocurrency broker and custodian securing deposits and providing banking APIs for transferring funds.
However, it appears the platform has now ended their agreement with Paxos and instead is now in talks to partner with crypto custodian Anchorage Digital, according to Bloomberg.
This move was supported by Citadel Securities, Fidelity and Charles Schwab, with Anchorage already listed on the exchange’s website as one of its partners or service providers.
Additionally, EDX Markets does not store clients’ assets, rather providing them with a trading platform for transactions, supporting Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash 24/7.
Despite not directly serving retail investors, it connects with brokerage firms representing them in order to facilitate trades.
